      3. Location: On-Site, Aberdeen, MD

    2. Position Summary: The Test Engineer (TE) ensures all finished products—both commercial and federal—meet performance, safety, and compliance standards prior to shipment. This role conducts final inspections, functional tests, and documentation reviews in accordance with Veritech and Customer requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality assurance.
    3. Key Roles/Duties:
      1. Perform final functional, electrical, and mechanical testing on finished products to verify conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
      2. Test, identify defects, and work with Engineering, Quality, and Production to develop solutions or mitigation procedures to ensure functional and operational requirements are met
      3. Identify, report, and assist in resolving nonconformities found during end-of-line (EOL) testing and support root cause and corrective action processes
      4. Maintain accurate and complete testing records, including travelers, test reports, and inspection logs, ensuring traceability and audit readiness
      5. Ensure compliance with Veritech and Customer standards for all final inspection and documentation activities
      6. Document and verify all test results in accordance with internal quality procedures and customer requirements
      7. Verify calibration status of all testing and measuring equipment prior to use in accordance with the Company’s quality management system (QMS)
      8. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to support continuous improvement, reduce rework, and enhance product reliability
      9. Support development and execution of test procedures
      10. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits as a subject matter expert for testing processes and inspection documentation
      11. Adhere to and promote safety, security, and ethical standards required for federal contracting and facility operations
      12. Perform other duties, as directed
    4. Basic Qualifications:
      1. High school diploma or equivalent required or a minimum of three (3) years of related experience
      2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
      3. Basic understanding of engineering concepts and Network Engineering
      4. Prior professional work experience with testing concepts and manufacturing
      5. Prior experience working in a collaborative Team environment
      6. Experience working with Microsoft Office products
    5. Preferred Qualifications:
      1. Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field
      2. Prior experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, etc.
      3. Strong visual acuity for inspecting small components and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision
      4. Prior test experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
      5. Working knowledge of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 and AS9100 QMSs
      6. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFRAS) contract compliance requirements
    6. Travel: Up to ten (10) percent (%) Continental United States (CONUS)
