A singer-songwriter and activist known for his powerful music and tireless efforts on behalf of the lost and the lonely, the shackled and scarred, John Flynn follows in the footsteps of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Phil Ochs, and other social justice troubadours. John has been called a “folk icon” whose work reaches beyond the conventional boundaries of the genre. His friend and mentor, Kris Kristofferson, has called John “an important artist whose work in prisons, rehabs, and half-way houses is distilled into the truth and the beauty of heartfelt and heart-warming slices of life.” Join us for an evening of wonderful music with this folk hero whose work will fill your heart, open your eyes, and expand your mind.
