Support our neighbors experiencing homelessness at “Off The Streets” March 12, 2021 Sponsors, donations and participants sought for first ever Off the Streets Event to benefit Harford Family House.
[Aberdeen, MD] February 10, 2020—Harford Family House is hosting the first ever Off the Streets Event presented by Tar Heel Construction. This event will take place wherever you decide to “sleep out,” whether it be your backyard, kitchen floor, or driveway… participation is easy and FUN! All proceeds from the event will help families and young adults in the community on their journey to independence.
The community is invited to be a part of the Inaugural Off the Streets: A Sleep Out to Support Our Neighbors Experiencing Homelessness, an event where power meets purpose! Individuals, families, friends, colleagues, churches, youth groups, organizations and businesses are challenged to sleep outside for one night, in a safe and legal spot of their own choosing (a backyard, driveway or kitchen floor are examples).
This event is not about pretending to be homeless, it’s a demonstration to those experiencing homelessness – deciding that we can’t stay indoors while so many families remain outside. Participants will raise funds and awareness for Harford Family House and earn incentives along the way.
