The Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) 2017 Celebration of Philanthropy in Harford County will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Water’s Edge Events Center in Belcamp, Maryland. Networking and registration begin at 11:00 a.m. with the award luncheon from 12 noon- 2:00 p.m. The Harford County Celebration of Philanthropy celebrates businesses and individuals whose exceptional generosity demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility, and whose example encourages others to be leaders in philanthropy in Harford County. Honorees in 2017 are Jones Junction as Philanthropists of the Year; George and Kathy Heidelmaier as Outstanding Volunteer Fundraisers; Chesapeake Environmental Management as Outstanding Business Philanthropist and the Terry Troy Award for Volunteer Service to Marlene Lieb. The celebrity master of ceremonies will be Jamie Costello of WMAR TV2. Sponsors to date are: Presenting Sponsor - Connelly & Assoc.
