About Us
The Baltimore Area Council serves over 12,000 young people in Central Maryland, over 1,300 here in Harford County alone. There are over 40 Scouting Uinits in Harford County. The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The Baltimore Area Council owns and operated over 1,700 in northern Harford County, known as Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation.
